Public Wisdom was founded by Ashley Grosse, Ph.D., whose three decades of survey research spans Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, academic institutions, and leading think tanks. She and her team of experienced researchers bring that depth of expertise to every project.
Grosse began her career at the Institute for Social Research (ISR) at the University of Michigan, where she managed the American National Election Studies — the nation’s longest-running and most respected time series dataset for research on political behavior and public attitudes.
She has spent her career on the front lines of research innovation: first examining how survey methodology shapes response rates, then navigating the field’s defining transitions from in-person to telephone interviewing, and from telephone to web. For the past two decades, her work has centered on harnessing the speed and visual power of web surveys through rigorous methodological experimentation.
